PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCES
Prenetics/IM8 – JULY 2024 – PRESENT
Director and President, Americas
Joined the global board of Prenetics (PRE on NASDAQ) and was quickly asked to lead the new Americas division, quickly acquiring Europa Sports, a top nutrition distributor in the USA and to support the launch of IM8 Health, a premium nutrition brand co-founded by David Beckham.
Working closely with founder/CEO Danny Yeung from Hong Kong to strategically leverage the cash position of Prenetics in South East Asia to pivot into the USA consumer growth nutrition market.
Successfully turned around Europa Sports, a distressed acquisition, into a new business model focused on nutrition 3PL services and wholesale/retail sales into on-premise fitness and nutrition stores as well as a new model for bricks to clicks selling. Shifted margins from single to strong double digits and re-ignited sales and partner confidence back into growth mode.
Launched IM8 Health, a disruptive premium nutrition brand co-founded with David Beckham, into a fast- growth direct to consumer digital business that is currently selling nearly double forecast and with sustainable KPIs for growth.
Nirvana Water Sciences – SEPTEMBER 2022 – APRIL 2023

Leading the re-invention of a three-year-old functional beverage and sports nutrition start-up in the United States and transforming the leadership team, route to market, brand and product portfolio.
- Closed a partnership/investment with Inspire Health Alliance that brought in $5.6MM in new investment over two years and generated a new orthopedic supplement protocol and two new beverage shots under the NirvanaSUPERProTM brand.
- Completed the acquisition of Alder Creek Beverages (a source water business and brand with 1700 acres, 20 springs and on-premise manufacturing/filling and spring water sales), an $8.9MM business in 2022 that grew to over $10MM in 2023.
Rx3 Ventures – 2019 – PRESENT
Limited Partner and Advisory Board Member
Early investor as a limited partner and advisory board member (investment committee) in Rx3 Ventures first fund ($50MM), together with Nate Raabe and Byron Roth (both of Roth Capital) and Aaron Rogers (professional athlete). Rx3 Ventures is a consumer-focused investment fund based in Orange County, California, committed to partnering with brands to maximize growth by leveraging its unique network of investor partners and influencers. Now in its second fund ($120MM).
Rx3 invests in media & entertainment properties, sports, lifestyle, and food and beverage products, and leverages their social media influencer networks and distribution partnerships to bring significant value to their portfolio companies. Portfolio companies include: Hims, CorePower Yoga, Hydrow, Tocaya Organica, Super Coffee, Nom-Nom, Orgain, Therabody and others.
ItWorks International – JANUARY 2020 – SEPTEMBER 2020

Led the sales and operations of an omni-channel and global beverage company, doubling revenue and shareholder value in less than a year through both organic growth and acquisition.
Led omni-channel sales strategy and execution, including sourcing and manufacturing juice and supplement products across Asian, American, and European markets with direct-to-consumer, retail and direct selling brands and channels through six direct reports, more than 800 employees and hundreds of thousands of affiliate marketing and sales staff.
Doubled sales from $250MM to $500MM via organic innovation and acquisition strategies and more than doubled shareholder value during the same 12-month period (from $1.77 per share to $3.60 per share)
Amway Corporation – 2015 – 2019

Senior leader within Amway globally and head of the XS brands energy and sports nutrition business for Amway worldwide, the world’s largest direct selling company with revenues exceeding $8BB and operations across more than 100 countries.
Increased XS revenue more than 25% annually (CAGR), post-acquisition, to become Amway’s fastest growing brand and category in their portfolio worldwide growing from over $150MM to roughly $400MM in annual revenue in four years.
Partnered with internal teams at Amway to successfully integrate the XS business model into Amway’s global business, shared innovation tools and partnered with other Amway brands to enhance success across the organization.
Launched XS Sports Nutrition in eight additional major markets within the Amway system including China, Japan, US, Korea, Philippines, the EU, Australia/NZ, and others.
XS Energy Worldwide – 2002 – 2014
Founder and CEO
Chief Executive and founder of XS Energy, a better-for-you energy drink and sports nutrition business. Led the business creation from concept through exit, developed the business in multiple channels across more than 25 countries and revenue of >$150MM, before sale of the business to Amway in 2015.
- Successfully led development of the XS strategic brand story, products, programs and every aspect of the brand with four partners. Drove global expansion for the brand across more than 25 countries. Negotiated the sale to Amway in 2015. Joined Amway as the XS Global Vice-President and General Manager to expand business through their markets, and to help transform Amway’s traditional direct selling approach into a more modern, digital business.
Grew the XS brand from inception to over $150MM in annual revenue. XS was originally sold in traditional retail and losing money in 2001 and shifted in 2002 to direct selling via Amway and significant profitability.
Launched the XS brand through the Amway direct selling system, using XS as the first lifestyle brand in direct selling that attracted a new generation and more productive distributor.
XS energy drinks became top performing SKUs by volume and revenue in nearly every Amway market where sold.
Instrumental in the turnaround of Amway Japan, one of Amway’s largest markets, following a decade-long decline.
Initiated the use of social media to deliver compelling online experiences, driving sales and engagement. Created multiple properties on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, WeChat and Weibo to position branded communities as the thought leader in social and digital engagement with customers and Amway Business Owners (ABOs) worldwide.
Created the RevolutionNext brand program globally, total experiences that engaged both ABOs and their customers/prospects. This program became the foundation of the AmwayNext strategy.
